User Agreement: Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

1. User Account and Password

1.1 Users applying for dtlingo.com service must provide true and accurate personal information to ensure receipt of the relevant course information. If the information submitted is untrue, dtlingo.com bears no responsibility for problems arising from this.

1.2 After registration, users will receive an account and password. It is the user's responsibility to keep these details secure.

1.3 If a user's account or password are compromised, the user must contact dtlingo.com service centre immediately. dtlingo.com is not liable for any damages suffered due to improper use or the user's failure to keep the account and password secure.

2. Service Content

2.1 The specific content of the service provided by Dtlingo is subject to change. dtlingo.com reserves the right to extend or amend its services without notification, unless dtlingo.com deems it necessary to do so.

2.2 dtlingo.com provides service to users online. In order to use the site, it is the user's responsibility to provide all necessary equipment, such as a computer and modem and to pay all associated costs for accessing the internet.

2.3 Users can preview the video lessons before buying. After purchase, video courses will not be refunded.

2.4 If service needs to be suspended to allow for system maintenance or upgrades, dtlingo.com will provide as much advance notice as possible.

2.5 dtlingo.com's paid courses, free courses and preview courses all come with a limited time validity. Users should complete all studies within this period. After the course is completed or at the end of the valid period, users' rights to this content will expire.

3. Disclaimer

3.1 dtlingo.com does not guarantee that its services will meet all the user's requirements and expectations and does not guarantee uninterrupted service. dtlingo.com does not accept any responsibility for service disruption or other defects caused by force majeure or other events beyond its control, but will try to reduce the impact and losses caused to the user.

3.2 Since people from different cultural backgrounds may get cultural shock or experience cultural problems while having Chinese classes, we will appreciate it if you let us know the moment that happens. We will strive to offer high quality professional Chinese classes and we reserve the right of explanation if our teachers conduct themselves inappropriately in class.

4. Users' Rights and Obligations

4.1 Use of dtlingo.com is subject to the laws of the People's Republic of China. Users must observe the "People's Republic of China Contract Law", "Copyright Law of People's Republic of China", "National People's Congress Standing Committee decision on safeguarding Internet security", "People's Republic of China Guarding State Secrets Law", "People's Republic of China Telecommunications Regulations", "Regulations on Protection of Computer Information System Security","People's Republic of China International Networking of Computer Information management Interim Provisions" and its implementation measures,"International Networking of Computer Information Systems confidentiality regulations", the relevant Chinese laws and regulations and "Internet Information Services", "Computer Information Network and Internet Security Protection and Management", "Internet Electronic Bulletin Service Management Requirements" and other relevant Chinese laws and regulations.

4.2 If dtlingo.com suspects any user to have used its services in a way that violates any of these laws and regulations, including but not limited to any part of the user's expressions or actions, it may terminate or suspend the account without notice at any time.

4.3 Users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts on dtlingo.com web pages or services: the production, copying, distribution or dissemination of information in violation of the Basic Principles of the Constitution; endangering national security; leaking state secrets, subverting government or undermining national unity; harming national honor or interests; inciting ethnic hatred or discrimination, undermining national unity; undermining national religious policies or propagating cults or superstition; spreading rumors, disturbing social order or stability; spreading obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terrorism or abetting crime; insulting or slandering others, or infringing on the legal rights of others; making false, harmful or threatening statements, invading the privacy of others; spreading harassment, defamatory, vulgar, obscene content contrary to public morality or in any other way in violation of Chinese laws, regulations and rules.

5. Changes to the Service Agreement

dtlingo.com has the right to make changes and modifications to the service agreement. When changes occur, dtlingo.com will highlight the changes on the site or via the latest version of the service agreement, which will be emailed to the user. If the user does not agree to the amended agreement, he/she can cease to use the service and can apply for a refund, subject to deductions for services already used. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the modified service agreement.

6. Privacy

dtlingo.com places great importance on the protection of users' privacy and will not, without the user's permission, rent or sell information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:

(1) You agree to share the information;

(2) You agree that your personal information may be used to promote to you goods and services;

(3) In order to satisfy a court summons, legal order or other legal process;

(4) On discovering that you have violated the dtlingo.com Terms of Service or other site requirements;

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Any text, image, graphic, audio / video or other data contained in dtlingo.com content is subject to trademark, copyright and other intellectual property laws and must not be used for commercial purposes, or disseminated to the public via the internet or any other means without the written consent of the copyright holder.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Force majeure covers events beyond the reasonable control or anticipation of dtlingo.com, including foreseen but unavoidable events which may obstruct, influence or delay dtlingo.com from fulfilling its obligations under all or part of the agreement. These events include but are not limited to: government action, natural disaster, war, hacking, computer viruses and network failure. Force majeure may render the dtlingo.com site inaccessible or slow to access, may result in the loss of stored data, including personal information, and all adverse consequences.

8.2 When subjected to a force majeure event, dtlingo.com may suspend its obligations under the terms of the agreement until the elimination of the impact of the force majeure event. In such cases, dtlingo.com will not be liable for any breach of terms but should make every effort to overcome the event and mitigate its negative effects.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This service agreement, its performance and interpretation are subject to the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute shall be referred to the Beijing Arbitration Commission, whose decision is final. Any provisions of this agreement found to be in conflict with the laws of the People's Republic of China do not invalidate other provisions of the agreement.
